Tanzania Safari and Zanzibar
The package we will organize for you will be tailored to your personal needs and interests. This means that every trip will be different, which makes it hard to provide a sample trip itinerary. Nevertheless, in order to inspire you, we will try to give you some useful ideas. This example is based on a fortnight’s holiday. The emphasis is on visits to wildlife parks.
Example: 14-day Tanzania Safari and Beach
You will travel with your own group and a personal guide, driving a 4WD safari vehicle. Two brief excursions will satisfy your needs for cultural enrichment. Then, after a five-day stay in Zanzibar, relaxing on the beach, you will be fully rested and ready to fly home.
Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania
Today you will arrive in Tanzania. Makasa will pick you up from thel airport and will bring you to Moshi.

Day 2: Olpopongi Maasai
We will pick you up from your hotel and we will drive to Olpopongi in West-Kilimanjaro. Your will spend your day in this authentic Maasai-Village and share the Maasai life. We will visit a Museum and do a Village Tour, a Traditional Lunch, a Walking Safari in the Maasai territory, we will learn Maasai hunting techniques & more about natural Maasai medicine.

Day3: Lake Manyara National Park
Today your safari starts! You will visit Lake Manyara National Park. The park is one of those national parks which offers rich and diverse game viewing within a reasonably small area. It is one of the best areas for elephant viewing and close encounters are very common. The bird life here is also exceptional.

Day 4 - 6: Serengeti National Park
We will spend three nights (two full days) in Serengeti National Park. Serengeti National Park gets its name from the Maasai word Siringitu meaning endless Plain. The game drives in this park are exceptional and game viewing incredible. This park offers the best opportunity of viewing Cheetah, Leopards and Lions and when lucky the annual Great Migration!

Day 7: Transfer to Karatu
Today you will drive to Karatu.

Day 8: Ngorongoro crater
In the morning we will drive to the crater. Ngorongoro is a unique crater known as a Caldera. A Caldera is the aftereffect of a volcanic collapse, an implosion rather than explosion, Ngorongoro was formed some two million years ago. The Crater itself measures an average of 18 Kilometers in diameter and approximately 700 meter vertical drop and is home to 25000 large animals. The crater is one of the prime areas to observe the endangered Black rhino and black manned Lions.

Day 9 - 13: Zanzibar
Today you will fly to the tropical island Zanzibar. Zanzibar is an island off the east coast of Tanzania. This magnificent island has pearl white beaches, a clear blue sea and pleasant temperatures that fluctuate between 25 and 35 degrees Celsius. You will stay here for 5 nights.

Day 14: Flight to Dar es Salaam
From Zanzibar airport you will fly to Dar es Salaam Airport. From here you will fly back home.
