Arusha National Park

Arusha National Park offers great scenic beauty with thick forests, undulating hills, lakes and craters. This park is the best place to view colobus monkeys, some of the most interesting primates with long white tails and vestigial thumbs. The name, “colobus,” is derived from the Latin language meaning “mutilated one,” as they have evolved not to have thumbs.
